As part of the Education Authority Whole Class Pathways to Learning, our Primary 5 pupils have been learning string instruments since September. For most, this was their first experience of playing an instrument, and they worked tirelessly each week under the guidance of Edel Moore and Claire Sweeney.
Their hard work culminated in a wonderful concert at school, where they showcased all they had learned. Our other classes, who have also been working with Ms Moore throughout the year, provided the perfect accompaniment to the Primary 5 performance.
We are always delighted to offer this opportunity to our P5 pupils, and it is wonderful to see so many continue their musical journey beyond the programme; our concert featured P6 & 7 pupils who began tuition after their P5 initiative.
A huge thank you to EA Music, and especially Edel Moore and Claire Sweeney, for their dedication and support throughout the year. We hoped everyone enjoyed the concert!
