We are incredibly proud of our Primary 6 & 7 pupils who were crowned winners of the Transition Cup ⚽️🏆 today at St. Patrick's High School! Not only did they bring home the trophy, but they represented our school with outstanding sportsmanship and manners throughout the entire tournament - a true credit to us all.
This annual event plays an important role in supporting pupils as they transition from Primary to Secondary education. As always, it was exceptionally well organised, and we extend our sincere thanks to Mr Furphy and his colleagues for their continued efforts in making the day such a success.
Our victorious team - including leading scorer, Bella “Messi” Deveney 😉 and fellow goalscorers, Gemma and Lucy-Mae - returned to Darkley to a well-deserved heroes’ welcome (video to follow!) and were warmly celebrated by the younger classes during assembly.
Congratulations to all involved; girls and boys alike! As for the cup, it seems to have found a very comfortable home on display outside Mr Monaghan’s office 🏆
