On Wednesday, our P6 and P7 pupils enjoyed a fantastic day out at Croke Park. This was our first ever trip there but definitely not our last!
A huge thank you to our tour guide, Jack, who brought the history of Croker to life with his brilliant knowledge and enthusiasm. The highlight for many was getting the chance to lift a replica Sam Maguire and Liam McCarthy…we’re not saying it went to anyone’s head, but there were certainly a few future county captains on the bus home! 🏆😄
On the way home, we enjoyed a well-earned stop at Burger King in Applegreen which was a very popular choice. Once fed and watered, we set off for home.
The children were outstanding throughout the day. Their behaviour was excellent and they were a real credit to the school and their families. We are very proud of them all!
