🏐The girls took to the field earlier today for the next round of the Malachy McGeeney Tournament, organised by Cumann na mBunscol. Hosted by Killean Primary School, at the county ladies’ pitch, the stage was set despite incredibly challenging conditions ☔️
The weather proved to be a real test, with heavy rain throughout the whole game, but it didn’t dampen the determination or spirit of our girls. Every single player who pulled on the jersey showed tremendous heart and resilience, battling bravely right to the final whistle…despite being completely soaked.
While the result didn’t go our way this time, the effort, teamwork, and commitment on display were outstanding. In sport, there are always winners and losers on the day, but the girls can be immensely proud of their performances throughout this whole year.
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them! 💙🩵
