Exploring Homes Through Time
Miss Beagan’s Primary 3 and 4 class have been busy exploring the fascinating world of buildings, homes and structures over the past few weeks.
As part of their learning, the pupils brought in some dry recycling materials and used their creativity and imagination to design and build their very own homes. From colourful houses to inventive structures, the class have produced some truly fantastic and unique dwellings. We look forward to revealing their wonderful creations very soon!
To further bring their topic to life, the class also enjoyed a visit to Armagh County Museum last week. During their trip, they stepped back in time to discover what homes were like in the past and how families lived before many of the modern comforts we rely on today.
Our younger P3s, especially, were fascinated to learn how households were run long ago, making it a real eye-opening experience for many of them. It was a fantastic visit that everyone thoroughly enjoyed and one that certainly helped to deepen their understanding of how homes and daily life have changed over time.
