We have been learning about Forests with Miss Hughes our student teacher. Miss Hughes made excellent use of her local surroundings and Darkley Forest in particular to teach the children all about forests. She has also been talking to them about Fairies and the Fairy Village in Darkley Forest.
In this wonderful project, the boys and girls painted stones and shells in lovely bright colours to add to the Rainbow Fairy Tree created by Hollie Maguire. Hopefully the boys and girls will get a chance to visit Darkley Forest soon to see their beautiful art work placed at the Rainbow Tree.
