We were delighted to welcome back former pupil Aoibheann Tierney to Darkley Primary School today! Aoibheann, now a student at St. Patrick's High School Keady, will be taking part in School Aid Romania later this year, and she visited us to share information about the experience.
To celebrate the upcoming St Patrick’s Day festivities, we held a Green Day in school. Pupils and staff came dressed in green and brought in donations, with all money raised going towards Aoibheann’s School Aid Romania fundraiser. We were able to present her with £165.
Thank you to Aoibheann for visiting and for answering all our questions. We wish her and everyone at St Patrick’s High School the very best of luck with their trip to Romania 🇷🇴 in June. 🍀
