Learning about bones

As part of the topic of 'myself and my family' our class had a visit from James' mummy. She is a radiographer in Craigavon Area Hospital and came to talk to the children about her job. There was a chance to look at some x-rays and we had good fun trying to guess which body part they belonged to. We had prepared some questions to ask and found out what happens if you have to get an x-Ray taken. We also learned that children have more bones than an adult and that even our teeth are bones!!
