Last Wednesday, we welcomed some very special visitors to our school as we hosted our new Primary 1 intake who will be joining us in September!
Mrs Quinn had planned lots of fun activities for the children to enjoy, both indoors and outdoors, and there were plenty of smiles throughout the morning. Many of the new children already have older siblings in our school, and they were delighted to come along and spend some time helping the younger ones settle in (although we’re not entirely sure if their enthusiasm came from wanting to help their siblings or from escaping lessons for an hour 😉 )
To finish off their first visit to school, the children received some lovely treats from Mr Monaghan.
We hope everyone had a wonderful time and we look forward to welcoming back all our new pupils in September, for the beginning of an exciting new journey at our school!
