Darkley Primary School would like to say the BIGGEST ‘thank you’ to everyone who helped with our recent fundraising campaign. Thanks to your kindness (and maybe a touch of madness from our staff and parents who bravely abseiled down the Europa Hotel 😅), we’ve raised enough to bring a custom-made sensory cube - our brand new Senso Pod - to the school! 🎉
It’s been delivered, built, and is officially open for business. All pupils have already been our official “quality control testers”. The verdict : 10/10, very comfy, would recommend 😉, and the rest of the school staff will be trying it out over the next couple of days. Excitement is buzzing louder than the school bell here in Darkley! 🔔
This Senso Pod is going to make a massive difference to our pupils; whether neurodivergent, overwhelmed and overstimulated, or just in need of a calm moment, they’ll now have a state-of-the-art space designed just for them.
