We have been busy this week completing different tasks for World Recycle Week. As our WAU topic is ‘What a Waste’ this has been a great opportunity to learn more about where our waste goes when we are finished with it. The boys and girls have been researching recycling online and have gathered some amazing facts. We also watched videos which showed us what happens to our waste when we don’t recycle...the boys and girls were shocked to see how full up some of the landfill sites are already! Christine, told us how she makes sure all our waste is recycled and we went outside with her to see where the recycling is stored until it is collected. Everyone in P4/5 will definitely be trying to recycle more at home and in school! We made posters to encourage everyone else to recycle also 😊😊
