To mark National ‘Say Something Nice’ Day, our Primary 7 pupils wanted to do something special for the members of staff who have helped, supported, and cared for them throughout their years at Darkley Primary School.
Each pupil chose a staff member they wished to thank, and wrote down why. We managed to keep the whole event a complete secret until today. The children then surprised their chosen staff member with a small bouquet of flowers as a token of their appreciation.
It was a wonderful surprise for everyone involved, and a lovely reminder of the positive relationships that make our school community so special. The thoughtful gestures and kind words shared today certainly left us all with a warm feeling 🌸💐
