Primary 5 and 6 enjoyed a fantastic educational visit to Navan Fort today, helping to deepen their understanding of Ancient Egypt.
From the moment we arrived, the team at Navan Fort were outstanding - warm, organised, and incredibly engaging. The children took part in a range of hands-on activities that really brought learning to life and helped them develop a greater appreciation of just how much the Ancient Egyptians contributed to the world, particularly in art and engineering, architecture, and culture.
One of the highlights of the day was exploring death rites and mummification, which was made even more memorable thanks to one of our own pupils! Alex was superb in the role of ‘dead pharaoh’ and helped to bring the experience to life for everyone - an unforgettable moment that had the whole group fully involved!
A big thank you to Navan Fort for an excellent day. Primary 5 and 6 returned to school inspired, full of new knowledge, and excited to continue their learning back in the classroom!
