P5 &P6 pupils had a busy day on Thursday welcoming Orlagh from Young Enterprise NI. P5 focussed on ‘Our World’ learning how goods are imported & exported around the globe. They discovered where their everyday items were made, locating them on world maps and calculating distances for these items to travel. They looked locally at our own Darkley Mill and how once upon a time it produced linen but now these items come from far afield. Our pupils had a great time.
⭐️P5 focussed on ‘Our City’ and discovered more about community, business and trade. They explored lots of interesting facts about Belfast and gained a better understanding of finance. A brilliant workshop with beautiful certificates to acknowledge a great day of learning.
